Tulsi leaves are one of the sacred leaves among all the others. Tulsi leaves are used at the time of offering food to the god (neivedya) as a part of the ritual. Tulsi garlands are offered to Sri Hanuman Ji as he is fond of them. Also is the most sacred leaf to worship Sri Vishnu.
